MonolithMC releases version 2 of its DVR
MonolithMC v2.0 was released on Friday. The digital video recorders, which retail for $600 and up with no monthly fees and 200GB+ hard drives, run the Linux-based MythTV platform. The system ignores the DRM codes that police what shows you can save, and it runs various open source plug-ins. Killer feature set:
A MonolithMC is a complete Media Center, giving you ultimate control over your TV, music, movies, and pictures.
